Friend2Friend is an ambitious project to establish an infrastructure of personal data servers.
Intended to secure storage and sharing of all kinds* of personal data, these are

Distributed - Anywhere on the Internet
Available - Online 24/7, to initiate/receive** data transactions or to act as an intermediary
Secure - Each has a private key so it can encrypt requests that it makes to friendly servers.
Networked - Each has a list of friend's servers and their public keys
