Social Cycles

Negative Cycle:   Fear leads to Selfishness creating Social Conflict producing Scarcity and reinforcing Fear...
Positive Cycle:   Love inspires Sharing, creating Cooperation that generates Abundant Privosion and reinforces Love...

Any diverse society can be understood as a mixture of these two social cycles, shown below: No individual can control the mood of society as a whole, so everone is responsible for it in part. However, we are responsible for our actions. Both positive and negative outside influences affect out lives each day, and we have a choice about how to respond. One of the key factors that determines how altruistically we behave is whether we see ouselves as living in a world of abundance or scarcity - whether we are motivated by love or by fear.

The diagram above is a simple summary of the cyclical pattern of interactions between a society and its members:
